What a beautiful day it was in the Alexandra Meadows neighborhood when resident Haley Harper filled her garage with helium balloons and a driveway table became a station for making balloon animals.

Searching for some joy of her own during the COVID-19 isolation, she decided balloons would do the trick. She and her fiancé, John, are new to the family-friendly neighborhood and wanted to find a way to get to know their new neighbors while practicing social distancing.

As a former teacher and amateur balloon artist, Harper figured balloons would brighten the moods of the neighborhood’s residents, young and old.
